چکیده
Objectives: This in vitro study aimed to compare the volumes of unfilled areas oval-shaped root canals filled with five different obturation techniques after minimally invasive canal shaping using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). Materials and Methods: 50 extracted mandibular premolars were used. Root instrumented K3 files (Kerr, USA) size #30.04. Then, samples randomly distributed into groups obturated techniques; single technique AH plus (Group A), BIO-C® SEALER B), modified lateral condensation Plus 0.04 GP C), conventional D) continuous warm compaction E). All teeth scanned CBCT before obturation. Volume voids was calculated each third 3D Doctors software. Kruskal-Wallis post hoc Dunn tests used for statistics (p<0.05). Results: Group E showed least mean volume percentage voids, whereas A highest coronal third, middle overall. However, apical thirds, there no statistically significant difference between regarding (p>0.05). Conclusion: The effected quality thirds canals. had a higher than wave technique.

Comparison of Bacterial Leakage between 3 Different Root Canal Obturation Techniques in Oval Shaped Canals
Introduction: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the sealing ability of 3 obturation techniques in oval-shaped canals by bacterial leakage assessment. Methods: Sixty mandibular incisors with oval canals were selected after providing buccolingual and mesiodistal radiographs. The teeth were sectioned at a 10 mm distance from the apex. After instrumentation, the teeth were divided into 3 gr...

متن کاملEvaluation of Gutta-Percha-Filled Areas in Root Canals after Filling by Two Different Obturation Techniques
The aim of this study was to determine the percentage of gutta-percha-filled area (PGFA) in the apical third of root canals after filling with either System B or cold lateral lateral condensation techniques. Sixty-six recently extracted human maxillary central incisors were prepared with ProTaper NiTi rotary files and randomly divided into two groups of 33 teeth each. Root canal obturation was ...

The purpose of this study was to assess the efficacy of the thermoplastic filling techniques, Touch'n Heat®, TC® System and Tagger's Hybrid Technique, in oval-shaped canals at the apical third.Thirty-three human uniradicular lower pre-molar teeth were treated by the reciprocating movement technique and were subsequently split into 3 groups, according to the filling technique performed:Touch'n H...
